Day 1 – Arrival in Thessaloniki

• Arrive at Thessaloniki International Airport

• Meet & greet by our representative

• Transfer by luxury coach to restaurant for lunch

• Proceed to hotel for check-in

• Free time at leisure

• Dinner at hotel

• Overnight in Thessaloniki

 

Day 2 – Thessaloniki – Philippi – Kavala – Thessaloniki

• Breakfast at hotel

• Drive to Philippi, where St. Paul preached his first sermon in Europe

• Visit:

  • Site where Paul and Silas preached and were imprisoned

  • Marketplace & ancient cistern

  • Ancient Theatre – story of Paul’s arrest and miraculous release

• Visit Lydia’s Baptistery on River Zygaktis

  • Outdoor Mass & renewal of Baptismal vows

• Continue to Kavala (ancient Neapolis)

  • City where St. Paul first landed in Europe

  • Lunch at local restaurant

  • Pass by Roman Aqueduct

  • Visit Acropolis of Kavala

• Return to Thessaloniki

• Dinner at hotel

• Overnight in Thessaloniki

 

Day 3 – Thessaloniki – Vergina – Veria – Kalambaka (Meteora)

• Breakfast & check-out

• City tour of Thessaloniki:

  • Basilica & Crypt of St. Demetrius

  • Church of St. Sophia

  • Old City Walls (panoramic views)

  • Vlatadon Monastery

  • White Tower & Arch of Galerius

• Lunch at restaurant

• Proceed to Veria (Berea):

  • Ancient synagogue where St. Paul preached

  • Visit the Bema of St. Paul

• Continue to Vergina (Aigai):

  • Visit the Royal Tombs Museum

  • Tomb of King Philip II, father of Alexander the Great

• Drive to Kalambaka

• Check-in, dinner

• Overnight in Kalambaka

 

Day 4 – Meteora – Delphi

• Breakfast & check-out

• Visit Meteora Monasteries (UNESCO World Heritage Site)

  • Monasteries built atop towering rock formations

  • Major spiritual and monastic center

• Lunch at local restaurant

• Scenic drive to Delphi

• Check-in at hotel

• Dinner

• Overnight in Delphi

 

Day 5 – Delphi – Arachova – Athens

• Guided tour of Ancient Delphi:

  • Temple of Apollo

  • Treasury of the Athenians

  • Delphi Museum (Charioteer of Delphi)

• Lunch at local restaurant

• Short stop at Arachova village

• Drive to Athens

Day 6 – Athens City Tour – Ancient Corinth

  • Ancient Agora

• Lunch at Indian restaurant

    • Market Place

    • Bema of St. Paul

  • City where St. Paul lived and preached for 18 months

• Pass by Cenchreae Port

• Return to Athens

• Dinner

Day 7 – Departure from Athens
