Day 1 – Arrival in Rome

• Depart by flight to Rome

• Arrival at Rome International Airport

• Meet & assist and transfer to hotel

• Check-in and time to relax after the journey

• Dinner and overnight stay in Rome

Day 2 – Rome | Ancient & Christian Heritage

• Breakfast at hotel

• Visit the Colosseum, the iconic symbol of ancient Rome

• Proceed to Capitoline Hill, one of Rome’s Seven Hills and the ancient seat of Roman governance

• Lunch at a local restaurant

• Visit major basilicas:

  • Basilica of St. Paul Outside the Walls

  • Basilica of St. John Lateran (Cathedral of Rome)

  • Scala Santa (Holy Stairs)

  • Basilica of St. Mary Major

• Return to hotel

• Dinner and overnight stay in Rome

Day 3 – Rome | Vatican City

• Breakfast at hotel

• Attend the Papal Audience (subject to Pope’s schedule)

• Visit St. Peter’s Basilica, built over the tomb of St. Peter

• Lunch

• Free time at St. Peter’s Square for prayer and reflection

• Transfer back to hotel

Day 4 – Rome – San Giovanni Rotondo

• Visit the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel

• Visit the Grotto of St. Michael the Archangel (Monte Sant’Angelo)

Day 6 – San Giovanni Rotondo – Loreto – Assisi
