ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival in Tel Aviv – Exploring Cesarea, Haifa & Muhrakha

  • Arrive in Tel Aviv early morning.

  • Transfer to Cesarea (1-hour drive) to explore the stunning Mediterranean coastline and ancient Roman ruins.

  • Continue to Haifa (30-minute drive) to visit Elijah’s Cave at Stella Marris, enjoy a panoramic view of Haifa Bay, and admire the Bahai Temple & Gardens.

  • Travel to the Carmelite Sanctuary of Muhrakha (40 minutes) to visit the historic site of Prophet Elijah’s battle.

  • Relish a traditional Druze buffet lunch.

  • Transfer to the hotel in Galilee (45-minute drive) for an overnight stay.

 

Day 2: Mt. Tabor, Nazareth & Cana

  • Drive to Mt. Tabor (30 minutes) and ascend by mini-van to visit the magnificent Basilica of Transfiguration.

  • Proceed to Nazareth (35-minute drive) to explore Nazareth Village, a recreation of a first-century Nazarene settlement.

  • Visit key sites including the Basilica of Annunciation, Joseph’s Workshop, and Jesus’ Synagogue.

  • Enjoy a buffet lunch in Nazareth.

  • Continue to Cana (20-minute drive) to visit the Church of the Wedding Miracle.

  • Return to the hotel in Galilee (30 minutes) for an overnight stay.

 

Day 3: Galilee’s Sacred Sites, St. Peter’s Fish Lunch & Jordan River

  • Visit the key religious sites of Galilee:

    • Mt. of Beatitudes – the location of Jesus’s Sermon on the Mount.

    • Capernaum (Kfar Nahum) – known as the city of Jesus, where He performed numerous miracles.

    • Tabgha – site of the miracle of the multiplication of loaves and fish.

    • Primacy of Peter – the historic site associated with St. Peter.

  • Take a serene boat ride on the Sea of Galilee in a replica of an ancient Galilean boat.

  • Enjoy a delicious St. Peter’s Fish lunch by the lakeshore.

  • Visit the modern architectural marvel, the Boat Chapel complex.

  • Conclude the day with a visit to the Jordan River for a baptism experience.

  • Transfer to a hotel in Jericho (1 hour 30 minutes).

 

Day 4: Beit El, Shiloh, Jericho & the Dead Sea

  • Travel via Samaria to the historic site of Tel Shiloh (45 minutes), where Joshua’s Tabernacle stood for 369 years.

  • Continue to Beit El (35 minutes), the biblical site of Jacob’s dream.

  • Enjoy lunch in Jericho, the world’s lowest and one of the oldest cities.

  • Visit the Sycamore Tree and Zacchaeus’ house.

  • Ascend Mt. Temptation by cable car.

  • Travel to the Dead Sea, where you can experience the famous floating sensation in its mineral-rich waters.

  • Return to the hotel in Jericho for the night.

 

Day 5: Garden Tomb, Mt. Olives, Gethsemane & Bethlehem

  • Depart for Jerusalem (45 minutes).

  • Visit the Garden Tomb, widely regarded as the site of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.

  • Participate in a communion service at the Garden Tomb.

  • Tour Mt. Olives, enjoying a panoramic view of the iconic Dome of the Rock.

  • Explore the Pater Noster sanctuary, where The Lord’s Prayer is inscribed in multiple languages.

  • Pass by Palm Sunday Road (view from below only due to its steep descent).

  • Visit the Basilica at Gethsemane, also known as the Church of All Nations, and stroll through the ancient Olive Garden.

  • Transfer to Bethlehem (30 minutes) for a traditional local lunch.

  • Visit Shepherds' Field and explore the Basilica of Nativity & Manger Square.

  • Check-in at a hotel in Jerusalem for the night.

 

Day 6: Western Wall, Dome of the Rock & Overnight Prayer Vigil

  • Explore the Western Wall Plaza and visit the revered Dome of the Rock.

  • Tour Mt. Zion, including the Upper Room and David’s Tomb.

  • Visit St. Peter in Gallicantu, the site of Peter’s denial of Jesus.

  • Enjoy an Oriental buffet lunch.

  • Return to the hotel for a short rest.

  • Transfer to Jaffa Gate in the Old City of Jerusalem for an evening tour.

  • Have a packed box dinner.

  • Participate in an overnight prayer vigil at Calvary in the Church of the Holy Sepulcher.

 

Day 7: Emmaus, Jaffa & Tel Aviv

  • Return to the hotel for a few hours of rest.

  • Travel to Emmaus Nicopolis for a historical tour.

  • Continue to Jaffa (1-hour drive) to enjoy a special Israeli seafood lunch featuring Mediterranean salads and grilled seafood.

  • Visit St. Peter’s Church, the site of the healing of Tabitha.

  • Take a short walking tour of Jaffa’s charming streets.

  • Return to the hotel in Jerusalem (1 hour).

 

Day 8: Western Wall, Via Dolorosa & Bethlehem Farewell Lunch

  • Visit the Western Wall Complex and take a tour of the tunnels, getting as close as possible to the Holy of Holies.

  • Walk through the Old City of Jerusalem, following the Via Dolorosa to Calvary and the Holy Sepulcher Church (no tomb entry).

  • Travel to Bethlehem for a special farewell lunch.

  • Enjoy some time shopping for souvenirs.

  • Transfer back to the hotel (45 minutes).

 

Day 9: Departure from Tel Aviv

  • Enjoy a relaxed morning.

  • Transfer to the airport (30-minute drive) for departure.
